Chinese-English Translator---interpreter in Shenzhen

I am Jasmine Wei. My Chinese name is Wei Yan Ting .In Chinese, our last name comes first. I am an experienced interpreter and tour guide.
Having been born and grown up in small town in Guang Xi Province ,(there is a famous tourism city---Guilin, which is famous for its wonderful mountains and rivers.) in the South of China, from my teenage years I have had a keen interest in English history, literature and culture.


Between 2002 and 2006 I studied at HeNan University, specialising in English.
I have been working as a part-time translator since 2004.


From 2006 I lived in Shenzhen and worked first as a receptionist at
AIM SOLDER(SZ)COMPANY LIMITED. ( a Canadian company),and then as a freelance interpreter and tour guide. Working for a variety of international companies and private client from all over the world, I enjoy showing them around Shenzhen and other cities in China.

In 2007 I assisted two clients register their business in Shenzhen. One of them is a Thai company . The other is an American company.


My character: easy-going, smiling, friendly, honest, kind, reliable, responsible, team-work spirit .

My motto: Life is a journey!

As a travel lover, I have been to many cities in Mainland, such as Beijing, Shanghai,
Ningbo, Guangzhou, Zhu hai, Guilin, Nan ning, Cheng du . I have been to Hong Kong
and Malaysia.


Though I am hard-working , I know how to enjoy my spare time. When it is sunny, I like go to beach or go out for a walking. When it is rainy ,I prefer to stay at home, listening to light music, writing a journal or a short story. When I fancy writing, I become creative and full of imagination .
